Nikki went to the hospital this afternoon. Nikki was feeling weak and tired and had been vomiting for a while so she decided it would best to go to the hospital. Nikki is dehydrated and will have an IV for fluids. The doctor wants to have a number of tests done today and she will see an oncologist. We should know more by tomorrow. Thank you for all the prayers.

Nik,
Welcome back home!! I trust being home is much better. I wish I could be there right now to tell you how much your friendship has meant to me. Meeting you and Jess at Media Play changed my life, in fact, I know it changed all of our lives. You are such special and dear friend to me and continue to mean the world to both Jess & I. A true friend who is always there to listen and not pass judgment - A friend who is willing to go the extra mile and never complain about doing so. A beautiful person whom God has hand picked to show His love through and touch countless lives, all through you. I recall the many great times you, Jess and I would go out for dinner, see movies, concerts, hockey games and who could forget....the infamous late night pecan pie eating events? Remember the New Years eve parties we all went to? Oh the fun we all had. It really seems like it was yesterday we were all together doing these things. Then we all grew up. I moved to Nashville, you found and married a wonderful man, Brian, who loves you like no other and Jess, well he started up his own business adventures. It was always a treat to come back to San Jose and catch up with you in Willow Glenn, whether sipping a smoothie at Jamba Juice (my favorite) or having a drink at Starbucks. You always made the time to visit and for that I'm truly grateful. Just like Jess, your friendship is one that goes beyond this lifetime. If by chance I don't get to see you Wednesday, I'll be sure to catch you on the other side, without a doubt! Much sincere love to you dearest Nikki and know that Laura and I and many others including our church is praying for you and Brian.
