Today Nikki finished her last day of radiation. Nikki tends to be tired after radiation, she rests during the day. She was able to enjoy her craving for potato cheese soup and corn bread from Marie Calenders and chocolate peanut butter ice cream.
The cancer continues to spread and there are swollen lymph nodes that are causing problems for Nikki. One of the lymph nodes is pressing on a vein that effects the vocal cords which is effecting Nikki's voice.
Nikki continues to have hope and faith. Nikki is such a beautiful, loving and strong woman. Nikki will appreciate reading your comments.

Hi, Nikki & Brian! It's great to "meet you" via the web. I've been praying for you and was so thankful to hear Lisa was able to go stay with you for a bit. I made you the crocheted hat and am ALWAYS up for making you more! Let me know anytime if you want another one, and what style/color/texture, etc. I hope you have an especially comforting and "up" day today! -Jennifer
