Nikki continues to hold on, she is such a fighter. Nikki's parents and sister as well as Brian's mother and sister are by her side and supporting Brian. We have been sharing with Nikki all the wonderful blog comments and messages of love from family and friends. We all know what an incredible person Nikki is but it is amazing to see how many people's lives she has touched and enriched. Nikki is truly one of a kind!

My dear friend I love you more than words can say. The last almost 10 years together have been the best of my life and you were along that ride with me the entire way! Dear Nikki,
You were such a big part of my childhood. I have so many fond memories of pool 4, swim lessons, and the gatehouse. I know it has been about two years since we had last seen each other and that is two years too long. I wanted to thank you for having such a large impact on me when I was so small and impressionable- you were always willing to help me and my family whenever we needed anything.
I never had an opportunity to meet Brian, but I'm sure he is wonderful. You and him will of course be in my prayers. And don't forget that me and the rest of the Visser family always loves you. =]
